ELEVATOR SHORTENING
Part of an overall project to remove a silo to redirect incoming glass producing batch, shorten an elevator, and fabricate a new head section for the elevator. Designed the project modifications.
OTHER PROJECTS FOR THIS CUSTOMER:
Fabricate and install new pvc dust collection lines. Replace/Refurbish elevator casings. Remove an elevator belt and replace busckets and reinstall the belt. Emergency Service - reinstall binding steel around a furnace. Install a chute that molten glass could pour out of during a furnace breakdown. Fabricated and installed new bins for batch overflow.
